  • I'm not able to pick up my puppy in person. Are you able to ship the puppy to me?
NOTE: Due to COVID, we are temporarily suspending the option to ship a puppy with a puppy nanny. You are welcome to fly out and rent a car to pick up your puppy, but we do not offer to ship a puppy during these uncertain times. We apologize for the inconvenience! Typically our answer is... Yes! We work with Paws on a Plane, a puppy nanny service. An experienced nanny will meet us at our local airport and will accompany your newest family member on flight(s) to your local airport. They offer hand-to-hand delivery, attending your puppy the entire journey! The puppy flies in-cabin with the nanny and sends updates as they travel. Shipping your puppy will cost an additional $700, which includes the airfare, puppy nanny, and health certificate.

  • Are we allowed to visit the puppies?
Yes and no. Yes, we would love to have you visit the puppies when they are being picked for their forever homes. This is the one time you'd be allowed to come and play with all the puppies to get a feel for their temperaments and size. After playing with the litter, you'd be able to select your new family member from all the puppies that are available for a new home. Beyond this, we need to protect our puppies from infections and foreign bacteria entering their living quarters until they have their full immunities built up. Regretfully, we need to decline further visits from eager new friends! I know this is disappointing, but we promise it's for the good of the pups!
  • If I am purchasing a puppy, how often will I see pictures of the puppies and receive updates?"
We will do our best to take weekly pictures of each individual puppy, as well as an occasional picture of all the brothers and sisters together. These pictures will be posted on our website under "Puppies." New photos will be posted on Wednesday morning of each week. We will also take occasional video and post updates on our Facebook page. Like us at www.facebook.com/rollinghillsacreage so you don't miss a post! Our goal is to post video every other week and post updates every week.
  • When and how do we get to pick our puppy from the litter?
Buyers will get to start choosing their newest family member at 6-7 weeks old. This gives the puppies time to grow physically and display their personality a bit. Order of picking is determined by the order deposits are received. Once we receive your $500 non-refundable deposit, your name is on the list and you're considered "in line." If you're able to come to Rolling Hills Acreage to select your puppy in person, that'd be great! Otherwise you can refer to the photos on our website and we will send you video links of each individual puppy you are choosing from. In the video, you'll watch the puppy play and explore while we tell you all about their personality, size and health. We want you to pick the right puppy for your family, and we are excited to be a part of that decision!
  • Do you have a guarantee on your puppies?
Yes, we do! Please refer to our Health Information/Guarantee under the "English Goldens" tab on our website toolbar.
  • Why is the OFA health rating important?
Having a high OFA rating for hips is an important indicator of lifetime health for a dog and her puppies. If both parents have strong hip conformation, it means their puppies will also likely have strong hips. This translates to a healthy, happy puppy with less vet bills to correct potential problems like hip dysplasia. Buying an excellent puppy now will pay dividends later! In fact, you'll probably come out money ahead.
  • Do you offer full AKC registration?
We currently do not offer full AKC registration for breeding rights on English Cream Golden Retrievers or Bernese Mountain Dogs. If you are interested in full AKC registration for breeding rights on French Bulldogs, please contact us.
